Timber growled loudly, not meaning for it to be quite as loud as it had come out. "Where are they? The hunters should have been back hours ago!" He finally got out in a strangled voice.
Timber was rather large and could easily scare many small mammals away, but in some way, he didn't have the heart to kill, so he of course sent wolves to do it for him. "How dare they disobey me!" He howled loudly, causing a few heads to turn, look at him and then turn back. They were used to his strange behavior.
Timber had never been one to be mean and uncaring toward others. He sighed and exited the den. There were big trees all around the den and it made it look actually sort of homey for a brief moment, only a brief moment though. His torn body ruined the picture for everyone though. From his cold golden brown eyes, the scars and scrapes on his body, and the cuts in his pelt, its a wonder that he even has a pack.
He growled once more before climbing up a few rocks on the side of the den, he sat down and looked out. It was raining lightly and there was the scent of fresh meat in the air. Maybe it was time for him to kill once more.

Maika followed her ears to Timber. She'd been out patrolling around, looking out for anything or anyone that was out of the ordinary, fueled mainly by her boredom, but she had heard Timber and had followed the sound of his howl to find out what exactly was wrong. She hadn't heard his earlier shouts, but she had heard his howl. How dare they disobey me!
She wondered what he was talking about. Who was disobeying him? She reached the den area and saw Timber climb up the side of his den. She shook her coat slightly. It had been slowly dampening from the light rain. She padded toward Timber, dipping her head in respectfull greeting before speaking.
"What's the problem, Timber?" She asked. Then she realised that noone had returned from hunting. "I'm sure they've just got into some difficulties," she said, trying to calm the alpha.

"Well they should of came to me for help! They should have sought someone from the pack." He stated, looking at the older fae, his face immediately softened at the sight of her. He wasn't quite sure what her expression was; annoyance or fear? He sighed and sat down on the rock.
"I can't help but think that someone's hurt. I'm just worried." He stated, hoping that she of all the pack would understand his behavior. He had promised his family that he would take care of the pack, and if some one died then, that would be breaking his promise and he couldn't live with that.

Maika looked at him, sympathy in her eyes. "Don't worry Timber," she said soothingly. "I'm sure they're ok. Maybe they are just having trouble catching something," she said. He worried too much about the pack. She knew he would blame himself for anything that happened, even if it wasn't his fault. "Anyway," she added. "They'd have holwed for help if anyone was hurt. Don't worry." she said with a smile.

He faintly smiled. "I suppose you're probably right." He admitted, which was weird, because normally Timber wasn't one to admit that he was wrong. He was one of the wolves that thought that he was right, all the time. He looked over to her and smiled, then slightly flushed and looked away.
Timber climbed down from the rock which he sat upon. For a moment, he stood, staring out into the almost pitch black sky. Something was wrong, he could tell. He sighed and then let out a long, loud howl into the moonlight. Signaling that no matter what, it was time for them to come home. And if they didn't, he would know if something was going on. He looked back at the fae and smiled weakly. "They should be home soon." He stated, hope filling every inch of his muscled body.

She smiled softly as he climbed down off the rock. They would be home. They had to be. Because if this was what Timber was like when he thought something was wrong, she didn't even want to imagine what he'd be like if something had happened. She stood beside Timber as he howled, and looked out into the forest around them. Waiting for any noises that would signal their return. She nodded as he spoke. They should be home soon. And she thought that they would be. Standing waiting in silence didn't appeal to her. It would make the time go by slower, and then may make Timber more worried. So she tried to think of something to say. "It's a wet day...That could have slowed them a little bit..." Ok, it was a stupid thing to say, and probably didn't make much sense, but it filled the silence.
((Sorry, nicht sehr gut. ))

Timber smiled lightly and looked over to Maika. "I suppose so." He admitted. It had been a wet day, and that did always prevent a large number of animals from coming out so maybe they had a hard time finding something. In the background he could hear faint howls, one of his pack and many of other wolves. So there was loners that were still out and about. What a surprise. He's ears perked up and he sniffed the air, there was definitely unwelcome visitors about.

Maika listened to the howls that rang out around them, her ears perked up, to catch the voices. "There are loners about," she said, knowing that Timber would have known that, but feeling the need to speak once again.
((bad post sorry. ))

"Yes, yes there are." He muttered. He was still awaiting his hunters to arrive home, and he was starting to worry even more. It was hard to come across food in this weather, of course but they should have caught something by know. They had been gone over oh a good three hours.

Teralt stalked up to the two wolves sitting on the outside of the den. He was dirty from hunting, there was blood on his muzzle and his paws, blood scattered onto his pelt every other way. He sighed and limped up to the alpha. He saw the worried look in the alphas eyes that Teralt had been the only one to return.
"I'm sorry, Timber, I lost them. I had to run or they would have killed me too." They, ah yes, he and his fellow hunters had been attacked by another pack. They had to be careful, or they'd be in a sudden war. "The other pack, surrounded us, they killed the other three and I got away, but only just barely." And it showed, blood was all over his pelt, and he was on the verge of falling down where he stood.
Teralt had always been a fighter. "Please Timber, we have to do something." He begged, his alpha simply shook his head and closed his eyes. Bowing his head, he let out a long mournful howl, to let the pack know of the deaths.
