As the sun cascaded towards the plateau, and created a serene aura about the lands, a lone wolf wandered. He had a coat the color of sterling silver and eyes like almonds. The male was around the age of three years old, and stood looking at the blazing colors on the sky's canvas. "How gorgeous this is." he said softly. He spoke to no one in particular, for he was the only one around, at least that he knew of. Kale, which is what they called him, sat on his haunches, and sighed. He recalled a day as a cub when he was truly happy. The pack had gathered together and ate a rather large feast. That was a long time ago though and he must move on. He focused his attention back on the surrounding area. "This is really a lovely day." he said with a tail wag. The silver male let a small smile creep upon his scarred muzzle. If only he had someone to share it with, it would be perfect.

Angelic, or Angeli if you must, what a beautiful name. Something her pack would always tell her. She swallowed and continued to run around. Her white and yellowish pelt blowing lightly in the breeze. It was nice out to day and the grass was wet from the rain. She had set out looking for her Alphess but had ended up just wondering around where she could.
Sunset Plateau was one of her favorite spots to be. She'd often come down here to relax. She lay down by the edge of the plateau and then roll around in the grass. The grass here, was soft and silky, not the itchy stuff like around the packs den.
Today, there was many things other than the beautiful sky and day going on around her. She smelt them. Yes, the other packs, loner wolves, she smelt them all, and the scents were getting stronger every minute.
Her footsteps were light and she didn't notice there was another presence about, she was in her own little world today. She breathed in the surrounding air. It smelled of rain, she loved that smell. She closed her eyes lightly and continued to inhale the sounds. "Mm, that smell." She muttered, speaking more to herself rather then anyone else.

"I agree, it does smell quite pleasant." Kale said gently whipping his head around and his ears perk to the sound of a voice. What perfect timing this she-wolf had. It made this day all the more better to share than to keep it to himself. Kale's smile broadened a little bit at the sight of another. "Forgive my manners, I'm Kale, may I ask whose lovely presence I am graced by?" he asked. The silver male wagged his tail once more before turning his mahogany eyes to glance about lands, anything to keep from staring.

"My name is Angelic." She stated simply. "It's nice to meet you Kale." She smiled and looked out to the horizon. "I know that I'm home, but if you don't mind me asking, where do you come from?" She asked, knowing that he didn't belong to the pack, or at least she hadn't seen him anywhere in their packlands before.

"Nice to meet you as well Angelic. I come from lands far away from here more to the south east around 300 miles. My father was the lead in a pack and then my brother took his place. So I ventured here for a better place than always being overshadowed by Kanon." Kale gently chuckled and then added. "Did you live far from here before you lived in these lands? Do you like it here better?"

Angeli sighed. "Uh, no actually. I was born in these pack lands and I haven't left, ever. I've never been past these pack lands, and honestly I don't plan on ever leaving." She stated. She had never told anyone this. She smiled, not even Thaydon knew. "My grandfather was leader of the pack. His name was Mystic and he was feared by all packs around us. I look just like him." She began.
The story was semi-long and she could still remember what he looked like and how he smelt. "A couple of years ago my whole family, except my Grandfather, died." She sniffed lightly and started again. "And then about a year ago my grandfather died and asked me to become alpha and I told him no. I honestly not sure why. Then he chose Thaydon next and she gladly took the spot and she chose me as her Beta. We're practically are sisters, even though we aren't, we act like it."
She sniffed again, holding back tears at the thought of her grandfather. She smiled. "Of course, I couldn't turn down dear Thaydon, she had done so much for me. And Betas don't have quite as much responsibility. I don't think I could handle as much as she can."

Kale nodded. "I apologize for your losses, but glad that you overcame them." He wanted to lean over and console Angelic, but they were mearly acquaintances and it could create an akward atmosphere. The silver male wagged his bushy tail and a smile instead to try and make her feel better. Kale looked around the lands once more. Everything around him was gorgeous. "Miss Angelic, would you mind if I joined your pack?"

Angelic smiled. "I wouldn't mind, but I'm not really one to be making those decisions. You'll have to come with me and speak to Thaydon about it." She stated. Kale was nice and she was sure that Thaydon would have no problem with Kale becoming a part of the pack, at least she hoped that it'd be no problem.
"But, when you meet her for the first time, make sure you address her as Thaydon Blue." She smiled at the comment. It was the first time she had smiled in a long time. And she really hadn't taken any precautions to telling him her whole dirty history, not like there really was much to tell anyway. But she had no bad feelings about the wolf, which she sensed was okay. Unsure of what to say next, she awaited his reply.

Kale nodded gently and stood to his paws. "I'll follow if you'll be the leader." he said with a little quirky smile of his own. The silver male perked his ears. He liked being around Angelic. Now all he had to do was pass with the alphess to join the pack. Kale couldn't have felt more lucky. {OhOhPee}Bad post, sorry 'bout that..... {end OhOhPee}

ooc// Okay, I don't know where you wanna go from here. Like if you want to continue on this post or, if you want to move to the packs den, where the Alphess would usually be. Or what, so just tell me. =)

ooc// As you can see, I just moved the thread over to this board, I thought I might be a little less hassle then making a whole new thread.

They had finally made their long journey back to the Dens, she did not notice how the plateau was so far away from the dens. She shrugged it off and told Kale to wait while she went to get Thaydon. A few minutes later was was making her way back to Kale. "She is not here. So we will just have to wait." She stated.

Kale patiently reclined to silken haunches as he waited. When Angelic told him they would have to wait, he nodded gently. "So, you like being the betess of this pack?" he asked shortly after. The silver male's head tilted to the right and then back to its normal position.
