We are slowly dying off, one by one, heart by heart, and soul by soul. We say the restless bounty of our world it's self a spirit...and soon are we as well. Few think of us as brothers, not the killers of the man. For we are an aura in the night. A soul that is trapped, and wants to be free. Able to soar free like an eagle. But our howls are coming to an end... Only you can save us. Brother Moon, we see above, guide us to the heavens, that leads us to the wonderful place where we may thrive. How we want to run free, through what was a sacred land, but now we must learn that man have taken it in hand. Our last howls are withered, no one can hear us anymore, only you, our brother moon, and the ones who care about us can. Our rate is dropping fastly, our land is dying vastly, what happened to the men who were our brothers, the ones who had respect on the Earth. Now only few men alive, care about our thrive, soon we are the glowing spirits that give you much fright, but that is what you give us, even to this night. Now we walk an empty road. Lost into the darkness, we are aura around the spirit... the ones who truly known... we are the shadows of the moon light... the aura around the spirit. Why must we walk alone? Why must we hide, somewhere in this world? A thriving land must not hide away.
Why must we walk alone? Why must we hide, somewhere in this world? A thriving land must not hide away.
The howls that you always heard, you never hear. The full shape of the blue moon, soon to never see, Earth's bounty and it's beauty, is enough for me... But only if they could see it, just simply be it. What did we do to them that made our rate bite the dust? We may never know, but somewhere out there, is a land where we can thrive. Up in the heavens, or down here...on Earth.
Like the rabbit and the hawk, as man is to wolf, it is just a game of preditor, and prey. We can't follow in our brother's footsteps. Until the time comes that wolf is not a prey to man, like our brothers before us.
As I ask again, what did we do to them? We didn't kill them...
They killed us.
It was a gloomy night. All seemed well. The stillness of the night was only the first, possibly the last, sign of hope. As one we fail to protect each other, but together, we strike with pose. Though no one can foretell the future of survival. We need whatever is to become of it. We sleep, for only to wake up to another day of hope.
Awakening of the little light that shed through the open trees, the birds chirping, and the cold morning dew, we carry on. Knowing not were to go, just wondering, just hoping. Food was scarce, water was no where to be found, and no shelter from the blistering, snowy winds. Many of us lie down, and never catch up.
As this all happened a young brute padded across the little pebbles in the flushing stream of cool, petrifying water. He only was not enough to keep them from squeezing into the moist mud that lay under the heavy water, he was still making sure not to get his delicate paws drenched.
